Job Summary: As a Loan Officer at Source Funding, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their financing options. This position is ideal for self-sufficient individuals who are comfortable working independently and have a problem-solving mindset. You will have the opportunity to grow your own client base and earn commission based on your performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs and guiding them through the loan process.

  • Analyze clients’ financial situations to recommend appropriate loan products.

  • Prepare and present loan proposals to clients.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and changes in lending practices.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth loan process.

  • Manage a pipeline of loans from application to closing, ensuring timely follow-ups and communication with clients.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum  1 year of experience in loan origination or related financial services.

  • Valid DRE (Department of Real Estate) license; NMLS (National Mortgage Licensing System) license preferred.

  • If only one license is held, a willingness to obtain the second license within a specified timeframe.

  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to client service.

  • Familiarity with various loan products and the mortgage industry is a plus.
